Welcome to "fetch Solutions Blog": We are an on line platform for component veterans, executives, marketing and sales professionals, and enthusiasts alike. Our partners are all members of the component supply-channel. They include customers, franchised distributors, component manufacturers, and manufacturing representatives.

Like many of you, I started in the electronics components industry over 30 years ago. I have seen the highs and the lows: the vibrant 70's and 80's, the slowdown in the90's, the Bubble, it's burst, and now, the Internet alternative sales-channel. Like many of you I almost quit a few times - but being a Stubborn Irishman - I have always returned to better understand how the Internet and Internet software will become an alternative platform for buying and selling of components.

I've spent the past few years in your shoes: surfing the Internet to find a place where I can get all the information I need to determine how technology is going to alter the way the components industry will transact business: trends, issues, companies, SaaS, "e-Catalogs" and so on. But I could not find such virtual space. So I made up my mind to put a team together of Industry and Technology veterans to develop a virtual space at where the component experts (top-tier, mid-tier, and low-tier) can obtain their daily fix of strategic business information - be it news, insight, application software, analysis and community happenings. We are proud to announce the launching of the "fetch Solutions Blog".

"fetch Solutions Blog" will provide you news about the components industry, opinions from industry leaders and visionaries, information and actionable research and industry metrics. But most of all we want to provide a personality to lead the way for the industry. That Internet personality is "fetch". fetch will create forums for you to discuss and debate issues and network the traditional and the virtual. fetch will provide you resources to choose the right technology, events and professional services. In short, we want fetch "the person" and the platform "fetch Solutions Blog" to reflect the pulse of the components industry!
